+Do you consult with healthcare professionals who have questions about treating their patients?

I consult with mental health professionals about psychotherapy cases, practice issues, and career development. I also consult with healthcare providers about evaluating and treating emotional and behavioral problems associated with addiction and other physical conditions.

+How do I set up/change/cancel an appointment?

To schedule an initial appointment, please read this list of Frequently Asked Questions first, and then call 864-844-8112 to request an appointment. If you are an established patient, you may schedule an appointment.

+Do you conduct therapy by phone or videoconferencing?

Yes. If you are an established patient, I will work with you by phone or videoconferencing if it is difficult for you to meet in the office.

+Is payment due at the time of my appointment?

Yes. Unless prior arrangements have been made, full payment by check or cash is requested at the time of your office visit.

+May I pay with a credit card?

Credit card payments are not accepted.

+How do I get to the office?

+How can I get a prescription refilled? ?

Please ask your pharmacy to fax refill requests to 864-844-8112. Or ask me during your appointment time.

+How can I find out results to my tests?

I or my administrator will call you with test results. Or ask me during your appointment.

+What if I have an emergency?

Call 864-844-8112 to contact me or the covering doctor. If you have a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

+Who should I contact if I get sick after office hours or on weekends?

Call 864-844-8112 to contact me or a covering doctor. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

+Will I be charged for phone calls and emails?

There is no charge for brief calls / emails about administrative issues. For other issues, I will charge for time and effort spent on email communication or phone calls with you, just as I charge for time spent with you during an office visit.
